The end of the tourist paradise?

The country is apparently only 10 Polish tourists, rest – including me – back home. Brand new airport Enfidha, in addition the name of former President Ben Ali has already, lit empty. With hope for the future

Today, by far the decreased amount of media reports from Tunisia. Politicians are supposed to form a government of national unity. Army aims to bring order. Citizens look to the future with confidence. I hope, that tourists, who in the last days of leaving the country en masse, return as soon as possible. Deserted streets and closed shops - so today a popular tourist resort looks Yasmine Hammamet.

Revolution and what's next?

President Ben Ali fled to Saudi Arabia. Tunisians are pleased with this development, and argue, that the situation in the country will now stabilize. In the 60 days to be carried out new presidential elections. Feels this as a great hope for a better tomorrow. In the end we really a free country, I said with a smile, Karim worked with my hotel in Yasmine Hammamet. The resort is peaceful, and after dark the streets are deserted.

Evacuation of paradise

On Thursday night Tunisian President Ben Ali announced, that 2014 r. step down from office. He announced reforms and the abolition of censorship of the internet. The country erupted spontaneous joy. But today no one is celebrating. Leave Tunisia for the first tourists, although there is no immediate threat. In Yasmine Hammamet on the streets today, life goes on, as if everything was okay. And in the meantime the president from office persists…
