Birman wine? – I thought with surprise, because even though I do not know the wine – or know enough, to determine, I liked that as, this is good, and as I do not like it… is probably good for someone else – that is, but not know much about wine, Burmese wine is somehow at the beginning totally spoke to me. I am threatened with jail, or Burmese speak about regime

8 January 2012 | Comments: 3

We hear taxi driver's stories about the government , on poverty, life in Burma. We watch the picture Aung San Suu Kyi taken out from a wallet. Finally, we ask, if he is not afraid to talk to us so openly on such topics. If the government knew, what and how I talk with you, I would go to jail for two years – he answers. But he continues, apparently he trusts us. He is not the only one. During our trip to Burma it happens several times that the residents are open. We do not ask, not wanting to do their problems. They have a need to speak, how is life in the country, where the military junta rules, sim card costs 6000 U.S. dollar, and all media are subject to censorship.

Perhaps that was until recently, but it is not. Learned a lack of places in Rangoon reserve rooms in any subsequent city, to which we go. Unfortunately accommodation in Burma are not the cheapest, no coz ale – wanting to travel around the country must prepare for it.

Places, which accommodated, are described below – This may be useful to someone, who will be planned trip to Burma. According to my knowledge, none of these sites does not belong to the government, All are in private hands.

Rangoon, Now, in principle, known as Yangon, is for me a typical large city south-east Asia. Hot, Discharge, noisy and sticky. It sticks to everything is everything, first of all heated air into the body. Sticky wet shirt and stick a dirty people. Gwar, horns, shouts of street vendors and quiet whispers cinkciarzy, who propose exchanging dollars for kiaty ironed. I knew, what to expect, even driving to the capital of Burma's recent, and yet the quiet, pleasant Inle a big shock.
