There is one such day, when on the sreets of Palma you can meet soldiers, The Smurfs, bears and princesses. This is the culmination of the carnival - Sa Rua, a colorful parade. Similar marches are held on other days also in other cities in Majorca, But the one in Palma is the largest on the island. That day is dominated by music, confetti, candy and colorful costumes. You have no choice, but to join in the celebration!

This year, Sa Rua took place on the last Sunday of the Lent. In the center of Palma was closed several streets, at which the afternoon began to gather people who will take his place with the best views.
The 17:00 parade began. The city moved the platform with przebierańcami, a group of pedestrians. She played music, confetti flew first, candy kids were thrown to their delight.
Although the day before passed through the streets of Palma's Sa Ruete - miniature carnival parade for children, and Sa Rua is no shortage of participants from the youngest generation.
Costume parade participants are always very different. In preparation for Sa Rua can get creative. It is vividly, is fun, is sometimes even exotic.
In the parade are also represented minorities. Are represented m.in. Mexico, Colombia and Bolivia.
The end of the carnival this year falls on February, so there is still quite cold. But some are completely not bother - you can see the atmosphere is hot enough.
Others prefer to take care of health, So dress warm and prepare even in case Snow…
Suits are really interesting. I really like the concept of szpulkami, that roam the streets bounding.
It would seem, dress that will make most fun for kids…
…..and indeed is, although at the end of the parade a few hours, many children are already weary.
But adults are also great fun!
All very happy to pose for a photo.
But beware! Dressing not only is the domain of the parade participants. Many observers also dons his costume of the day.
All children are compulsorily poprzebierane…
…a lot of young people and adults…
…and even some pets!
Sa Rua is probably also the only occasion, to the streets of Palma de Mallorca to see… elephant!
Merrily, truth? :)

I always wanted to be smerfetką, I do not know why…the only woman in the herd, is probably not too well…Now, on the occasion of carnival costume I'd choose not smerfetki…
Depends on, from what perspective you look at it – because in this case, in fact you do not have competition and you can pick :) I think I was ever Smerfetką. Although my uncle called me a child Smerfetką, I do not know why :)))
I disguise their childhood (although I do not know, whether it was a fun carnival, or what) I remember one – as I was dressed as a “bow”. It means. I had such a nice sukienusię, to which my mother ponaszywała colored ribbons :)
I also remember, like my mom with her wedding dress I sewed clothes… was no – princesses or fairies. But it probably was in a play, and not the carnival :)
